295 Flinders St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
Gorgeous ultra train station! At the entrance is a bank of old clocks. Travelers were able to look at the clocks to see what time the train left from the platform for their destination.
Walking down Collins Street in Melbourne, I felt a mix of excitement and admiration. The elegant blend of historic charm and modern sophistication made it feel like the heart of the city. The grand architecture, from the beautiful Block Arcade to the impressive Scots’ Church, gave the street a timeless character. I loved the energy—the hum of conversations from stylish cafés, the quiet elegance of luxury boutiques, and the steady rhythm of city life. Whether it was enjoying a peaceful coffee, admiring the heritage buildings, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, Collins Street left me feeling inspired and connected to Melbourne’s unique charm.
Flinders Street Station, especially under the clocks, is a must-visit spot in Melbourne. It’s a popular meeting place with a lively atmosphere, surrounded by shops, cafes, and street performers. The station’s iconic architecture makes it a great photo spot, and it’s a perfect starting point for exploring the city. Whether you’re catching a train or just passing by, it’s a classic Melbourne experience.
Don’t miss this place if you’re going to Melbourne. Take photo across the street for a better view
Visited recently in March. As a student 40+ years ago used to come to Flinders Street station when taking the train. Seems to be much cleaner now.
