Nice room near the city. A great hotel shuttle bus which gets you to many place namely MTR TST, Mongkok, Yau mak Tei , Kowloon West and temple street. Rooms renovated but can feel is dated. Rooms were good for small size indivdules. 2 lifts which can be slow during peak hours. No bottle water nor toiletries in rooms. A glass bottle was provided to collect from water dispenser on selected levels. A kiosk was available with snacks, drinks and toiletries. Walking distance to Mongkok and Price Edward and Olympian City. Located Along Tai Kok Shui and Ivy street. Many Local and modern restuarant/cafe. Generally there were more Wetern Guest than Asian. Room rate maybe premiun for what you get.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel for the last three weeks. I booked it as a package with BA. It was surprising that when the taxi just arrived at the hotel, before we knew it, a young man is already rushing from hotel to help with unloading the luggage. He helped us to auto checked in. Gave us information about breakfast and shuttle service. I noticed that his name was Wilson. Since then, all staff are very friendly and courteous. Yes, the room is not big, but then Hong Kong is not big, but I was very impressed with the shower room design. Clean, bright and functional. The towels were the best, white, soft and absorbent, and changed almost daily. We used the shuttle service a couple of times, but because the hotel is quite near the Olympic metro station, so it was easy to travel. On the last day, after we checked out, someone called Kevin at Concierge was very helpful. He organized to keep our luggage safe in the hotel and a taxi to the airport when due. Definitely, we will stay in this hotel again because you cannot fault the service.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with Dorsett Mongkok. First impression, stuff was polite and professional. Even the housekeeping lady named - Jenny who was super friendly and helpful. Our standard room was a lot smaller compared with normal hotels that we had stayed at before, but it has everythings that we needed. I really like all the local restaurants nearby with 24hr McDonald's for my partner ? Olympic station not far away from it. Love their free shuttle bus and water machines within the hotel. I didn't have high expectations with this hotel bcoz usually you get what you pay for. Surprisingly I had superb experience with the hotel. I would definitely recommend and come back again.

We came to HongKong to celebrate our milestone birthday. The hotel was generous to give us complimentary cakes to celebrate our special occassion. The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome. The hotel was not located in the regular tourist areas of Nathan Road, but the hourly shuttle services and taxi made it easy for us to get around. The neighbourhood is quite local with lots of good food (comfort food like Mac is across the road) and 2 supermarkets just 2 mins away. Rooms are small but layout was ok. However, the hanging racks and the peep hole are designed for giants! I am 1.6m and I canot use the peep holes.

For a longer trip, this was a great option. The free shuttle and breakfast were lovely add ons, and the hotel was in an easily accessible spot. We stayed for a total of 9 nights for a mother/daughter trip from New Zealand! The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly - from the cleaners, doormen, to the general manager, and Eric at breakfast! Service was prompt and always with a smile. Rooms were comfortable, clean and modern. The only issue we had was that despite the website stating that payment would be on arrival at the hotel, my card was charged the full amount a few days before the stay (which was declined by my card company) and again, for one night, the night before. Didn’t think this was great practice and felt like my trust had been broken. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely stay again.
