16 Chung Wui St, Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong
What a superb Thai restaurant and the food is halal too! Ordered a salad, curry and mango smoothie. Requested extra spicy and the food was prepared to perfection. Very friendly establishment. So sad that I only found it on my last day on Hong Kong.
nice foods and services, although tidiness'wise do have room to improve, otherwise pretty much faultless, tom yum soup is really tasty, and i had brought some shrimp crisps too but forgotten to take any photos... guess thats how nice it it.
The best halal Thai restaurant in Hong Kong. My wife, uncle, and I went there after hearing a glowing recommendation, and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. Seating is a bit limited as it is a small shop hidden away, so it's not suitable for larger groups. However, I had a pleasant chat with the owner (a lovely lady from Thailand) and was quite comfortable at our table while we ate. In terms of the actual food, you can't go wrong. The satay, especially, is a must for a starter. The various chicken and beef dishes we tried were equally as good. For soup, I would recommend the tom yum, especially if you are looking for something spicy.
Dined in a few minutes after the opening hours. Owner is really friendly and helped to shift our luggages together. Shop is small and quite stuffy. Waited about 10 to 20 minutes for the food. Definitely worth the wait! Flavourful, authentic and delicious! Definitely the best Halal Thai Food in Hong Kong! Beef Noodle Soup, Minced Basil Chicken with Rice, Sweet and Sour Fish with Rice are a fee to name. Please save your tummies for desserts too. The Mango Sticky Rice is so good that I finished it up myself. Price is also decent for a pretty hearty meal.
