By far this was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. The rooms were very clean and modern. The price is hard to beat and the location was perfect. There is a train stop literally right out the door of the hotel. We stayed at some APA hotels during our trip and Comfort was so much better. Definitely worth the extra couple bucks per night. Only thing I would say is, don’t use the laundry if you’re on a time crunch. The washer/dryer machine never dried our clothes even after 4 attempts. We ended up just walking them to a laundry mat right down the road and they were dry after 10 minutes.

Stayed there for 4 nights in early May, and it was the best (and cheapest) hotel I stayed at in Japan! Location was great, just across the road from Toji station (Kintetsu-Kyoto line which is one stop from Kyoto main station), and within 5min walk from multiple bus stops. There were also several eateries within a 5min walk, from proper Japanese restaurants, to Mos Burger, to Lawson. The service was excellent. Staff were super friendly, polite and helpful every time we entered or left the hotel lobby. Check in and check out process were both seamless. There were many amenities at the lobby for guests to enjoy -- a huge shared space with tables and chairs (with power sockets as well) and free drinks and snacks from 10am-12am, free luggage lockers, free umbrellas for loan, and coin washers/dryers. I stayed in a Standard Room, 1 Double Bed, Non Smoking, which I found quite small, but there was just enough space to open 1 L-sized and 1 M-sized luggage. Nonetheless, the room had sufficient amenities as well, including kettle, hairdryer, table, TV. The huge shared space in the lobby more than made up for the cramped space in the room!

Very good hotel. It is right by a station, but you hear absolutely nothing. Everything is connected, you can see the laundry machines available 600 yen 3kg, Android TV, fridge, very clean and tidy. Some snacks are available all day (free chocolates, lemonade, coffee, tea etc). There's lots of lockers for luggages. Overall great experience.

One of the best affordable hotels I have stayed in, in Japan. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities, staff are lovely. Awesome little kitchen area and lounge and cheap coin laundry and in good location right near Toji only 1 stop to Kyoto station. Will definitely stay here again and use this hotel chain more often
