Great food and very good service, had rump steak and was cooked to my liking, the deserts (Sticky date pudding and Cheesecake) are superb and presentation is amazing . Good place to hang too, spacious and clean. Will definitely come back and try other mains, Asian Style chicken sounds good!?

The Civic is an absolute the best! Whether you're popping in for a quick drink after work or settling in for a night out with friends, this place delivers every time. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the food is consistently great (highly recommend the schnitzel or the steak sandwich), and the drink selection is spot on. What truly sets this pub apart, though, is the service — and Nicole is the star of the show. She's hands-down the best server I’ve ever encountered. Friendly, attentive, and always on the ball, Nicole makes everyone feel like a regular. She remembers your order, checks in at just the right times, and brings a warm, genuine energy that elevates the whole experience. The Civic was meant to be a brief stop over on the way to the airport for our honeymoon, but ended up being the highlight of our trip! Not only did they upgrade our room, but they also were nice enough to leave us a bottle of sparkling from the Yarra Valley. Beautiful place, Milk bar downstairs. Could not reccomend more ?
