A Beautiful Stay with Exceptional Service – But Be Aware of Spa and Extra Charges!!! We had a truly memorable stay at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana. The surroundings were stunning – lush, green, and incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape into nature. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, but what truly made our experience exceptional was our butler, Wasantha. He was attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Thanks to him, our stay felt seamless and very special. However, we were surprised by the pricing at the spa. The catalogue stated a massage cost of $65, but with the additional 10% service charge and government taxes that can reach up to 30%, the final price was much higher than expected. Even with a Booking.com discount, I ended up paying $77 for a one-hour massage. It felt overpriced, especially compared to similar services elsewhere in Sri Lanka. We also noticed that food and drinks at Cinnamon hotels – including during our previous stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala – come with a 30% markup due to the same combination of service and government taxes. It's something to keep in mind when budgeting. Despite these pricing concerns, we had a wonderful time overall, and we highly recommend Cinnamon Lodge Habarana for its incredible setting and exceptional service – especially if you’re lucky enough to be looked after by Wasantha.

I recently stayed at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana with my whole family to celebrate Mother’s Day, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect—just like during our previous visits to Habarana Village. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. J and Chef Ravi for their exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, and I truly appreciate the personal attention they gave us, just like last time. I enjoyed every moment of our stay to the fullest. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained—an ideal setting for a relaxing family getaway. I left with wonderful memories and look forward to visiting again!

We are went Cinnamon Habarana Lodge for spend our holdiay. As a family we had a fabulous experience here. The rooms are very comfortable and very relax. The foods are very tasty and very colourful. Our family really enjoyed the foods. The environment also very beautiful and calm. We spent our holiday as we expected.

Amazing hotel that's built around nature. There is a lake adjacent to the nature trail, and the running path. Very good bar that often has live singers. Excellent atmosphere all around. Will be returning.

It is one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka due to location, environment, and service. The food is very good and as always in Cinnamon hotels there is wide variety. Staff is professional and friendly. Surrounded by lots of green and lake, it's a good place for birds watching or simply enjoy nature. Rooms are spacious and clean. Also, it is well equipped. The Wifi is good, but I had trouble connecting the first time resolved after resetting credentials by the reception. There pool next to main restaurant. It's clean and well maintained. There is a large kids pool as well. There is a long jogging track around premises.
