Great experience all around! The staff was so helpful and ready to address our concerns immediately. The villa was spotless. Kitchenware was clean and tidy. The addition of an air fryer is a genius idea, plus the air fryer liners thoughtfully left inside. It is a great idea to use this, together with the microwave and stove for boiling, without staining the kitchen in an oily mess. Bedding and towels were stain free and freshly laundered. We appreciate the aromatherapy diffuser in the bathroom. The rooms were cooling and we did not use the AC though it is provided. The BBQ grill plate was washed and oiled when we advised the staff that we would use the grill set. This detailed attentiveness is impressive. Overall the stay is very enjoyable. Will repeat this staycation here again.

Charis Pool Villa in Janda Baik is a perfect retreat for a peaceful getaway. The villa is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. I truly love the Villa—it’s beautiful and has so much potential. But I felt I had to speak honestly. Check-in is only at 3PM and check-out is by 12PM. For a price nearing RM1,000, it’s hard to truly enjoy the experience with such limited time. What makes it harder is that you can’t even book for just one night—the minimum stay is two nights during weekend. It just feels a bit unfair. I really hope that one day, check-in times across Malaysia, not just at Charis but all throughout Malaysia, can start at 12PM. It would make a world of difference for guests who just want to make the most of their stay...
