Located in lively Shinjuku, we stayed in the 2 bedroom deluxe suite. The hotel is sleek and modern, the hallways remind me of araska tower from cyberpunk. Beds were great, bathroom is luxurious. The views from the living room is fantastic and a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Lots of great restaurants and stores nearby, would definitely stay again next time we're in Tokyo.

We were very impressed with this hotel. Rooms are large with fantastic views. Our one concern would be that communal areas and restaurants do not admit children-it did seem to me that somewhere should be provided for families to enjoy food and wine-especially tired and straight off a flight. Shogun Burger downstairs fixed that for us. We did go to the bar with our 11 year old (12 in one month) and he was far better behaved than most of the large groups of adults and a big fan of the mocktails. Service at this hotel is excellent - everyone performs their job to the best of their ability. Luggage transfer service was provided and worked seamlessly. Breakfast was lovely. Perhaps you might get bored after a few days, but we thought it was excellent quality and were happy to eat a small menu where everything is top quality. The location worked really well for us. A busy area with lots of options for dinner and tonnes of transport options. We didn’t find it offensive for children, but we did not stay out late, also being from London we are used to Leicester Square, Soho etc - other nationalities may not be. We’d recommend this hotel without a doubt.

Exceptional all the way around. We had a corner room with an onsen tub overlooking the skyline. Our view from the entire room captured 180 degrees plus of Tokyo. Spectacular! We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurants, both outstanding. Staff was always present, polite and helpful. We regretted leaving but our itinerary required moving on. Next time we’ve decided we will spend our two plus weeks in Japan only in Tokyo simply so we can stay at the Bellustar. ?

We had a wonderful stay at the Bellustar. The view from the room was like no other. We overlooked Shinjuku from 40 floors up. The view was as good as any you will get from many of the observation decks in Tokyo. Everything provided in the room, toiletries, pajamas, coffee, etc was top notch and very appreciated. The complimentary executive lounge was a nice touch. The breakfast in the restaurant and in room service was fantastic. We also had cocktails in the bar and well as some bar bite snacks which were both delicious. The star of the show was the staff, who were absolutely incredible. They were so professional and so helpful, including arranging a few reservations and events for us during our visit. The GM should be very proud of the team he has in place. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The Bellustar was the first hotel we stayed at on our trip to Japan and it became the gold standard upon which all other hotels we visited were evaluated.

Nothing's perfect--every property makes some decisions you wouldn't agree with, but overall I think the hotel was well equipped, the staff was courteous and helpful and it felt luxurious. The views are spectacular. Our corner room was spacious and well appointed, with a great shower and a soaking tub. Minibar was well stocked. The breakfast "buffet" is ordered via menu in the restaurant, order what you like--it's pricey but all included. The lounge was a nice treat at the end of the day, with snacks and sparkling sake on ice. The area is urban and energetic, just know what to expect so you're not surprised. Once you're in the hotel it will feel like you're a world away. The hotel is happy to help move your bags to your next destination via Yamato Transport, located right downstairs. Four full size bags moved to Kyoto were about $70 USD (05/2025). Would stay again!
