268 Phetchaburi Rd, Thanon Phetchaburi, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand
Good comfortable room. Easy access from BTS and airport train. Excellent buffet breakfast good street food nearby. A bit noisy from street traffic but still acceptable. Good WiFi
The rooms were big and comfortable. The washroom was big too and even has a bathtub. Having a bidet was a plus. Everyday, the room service people will clean and change covers and towels for you even if you didn’t request it. ? Their breakfast was good and definitely something you should add!
The view is great, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay on your solo trip, this could be one of the best choices. One great advantage is that the staff can speak English, which is a huge help for foreigners like me. They even helped me find the nearest BTS station and showed me how to get to the MRT station by drawing a map and giving it to me, so thoughtful. While some of the facilities may look a bit dated, everything still works perfectly. The room is clean and the bathtub is very comfortable. After walking for a long time, soaking my feet was such a lifesaver. No worries if you’re looking for more relaxation, just a short walk away is Nikko Thai Massage. There’s also 7-Eleven nearby for convenience. Do note that there was some roadwork (under construction) going on during my stay, but the area was still easily accessible. Overall, it's a great and cozy hotel, perfect for solo travelers!
We were not really impressed by the service, especially the one of the staff a the reception desk (night shifts). I was asking her a very simple question (pick up and drop off service to the Airport) and all she said was "I don't know. We don't have drop off service" and then told me to phone up some sort of numbers or the hotel service hotline (what?), while she should have been the one who would have done that right in the first place. But there were also a few staff (day shifts), who were so great and helpful, who showed us how to get the Grand Palace and reminded us to wear trousers before entering the place (Thank you!). Room is ok, clean with a large window over looking the city. Breakfast was good and the food was great, indeed. But the staff at breakfast were not much better, either. Sadly! Rush hours could be nightmares waiting for the lifts as there are only two working for the guests. The road in front of the hotel is still being constructed so, booking grabs and waiting for it could take longer than it should have been, so keep in mind if you'd need to get to an airport for your flight, make sure you'd book it up in advance.
Using trip.com to book the rooms here. The staff were wonderfully prepared to help you with any questions you may have. The breakfast package is a must book, super cheap, quite a selection to choose from and always free coffee and infused water for guests, even when youre not booking a room there. The luggage stoore also wonderful, we can put our luggage up to 5 days there free of charge. Super wonderful stay.
