Our hostess was extremely helpful. I booked a surprise trip in May of this year for a surprise for my husband's 65th birthday in September. Not only did she help keep it a surprise for him, she was knowledgeable of the area and when the surprise didn't happen due to adverse weather, she went over and above the call of duty to accommodate us. Room was snug and warm, perhaps a little tired but comfortable and fully equipped. Will book again when our trip is back on for next year. ?

Good location for kiwirail journeys. Host Andrew offers free transfers which we took advantage of. They are in process of renovating rooms, which we found clean.

Great location, nice and close to restaurants and the arena. Host was friendly and cheerful, room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable.
