It's a nice enough place and close to lots of trendy restaurants. Close to central train station, but it's near the top of a fair hill, so even wheeling your luggage will take some effort. We were there when they had only one working lift so sometimes it took a while. We had trouble with the keycards and the door handle to one of the bathrooms comes off. Lastly, the WiFi is pretty poor.

Exceptionally clean ? truly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at recently. If cleanliness is important to you, you’ll be very impressed. The rooms are large, featuring kitchens and in-room washing and drying facilities, making it a perfect choice for longer stays or those who appreciate self-sufficiency. If you opt for a room overlooking the pool, you’ll enjoy the lovely sight of planes arriving and departing. There’s also a warm spa downstairs and baths within the apartments – a wonderful point of difference you don’t often find these days. The balconies are super spacious (semi-private) and add to the relaxed, open feel of the property. If you're looking for self-contained, serviced apartments, look no further. A few things to note: the area is quite hilly, so having a car is a good idea. However, parking does come at a cost of around $50 per night. Surry Hills is known for its food scene, but as a Melbournian, I found the local eateries to be of fairly low quality, and it was surprisingly difficult to find a good morning coffee or nice café nearby. No one else had this issue. It must be a VIC thing. Overall, Adina Surry Hills is an excellent choice for those seeking a clean, spacious, and well-equipped apartment hotel – just be prepared when it comes to dining options and transport.
