5010 Chalmers St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia
Still under construction as of September 2019, although it looks like it’s almost done. Lots of statues of South American leaders and important figures in history. Pretty neat, but as of today, only about 5-10 minutes worth of time.
Is now renovated and a good choice to get in contact with Latinamerican and Iberoamerican history
A nice sunny plaza for the Ibero Americanos, an information board would be good.
Plaza Ibero American Features a collection of busts and statues of explorers and soldiers who played a role in discovering, settling, liberating and ruling various countries in South America. The achievements of the persons depicted in these sculptures are briefly explained in a plaque attached to the base. The most intriguing aspect of this attraction is its presence in Sydney at one of the main entrances to Central Station.
