Peaceful. Close to the road but sheltered from road vibrations. To Code Building that feels safe and sound. As a former Wellyonian, this is important for a good night's sleep. I suggested a room scent for an extra luxury touch and loose leaf tea pots as tea bags leech microplastics into the body. Since the takeover in management 7 months ago, the cleaning service has improved. These owners are focused on continuous improvement of this luxury accommodation. Comfy beds and great 50+ channel TV. Would stay again and recommended.

This motel can only be described as outstanding. We were blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts, Carol and Phil. I shall comment on the individual components below: but if we do return to Christchurch - which is a pretty city worth visiting - we shall definitely book here.

We only had one night here but I have to say I would definitely go back again. The owners/managers and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and we couldn’t fault it. Couldnt fault anything, on a busy road with no noise very good bed had a great sleep. Thanks Carol and the rest of the crew.

Hosts are the most hospitable people I've ever met, I advise everyone to stay here. I accidentally found this place because our Airbnb flat was cancelled and it was a really amazing coincidence to stay here. Thank you again Carol and Phil for such a warm welcome ?

I cannot recommend 306 Riccarton Hotel enough! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their friendliness and willingness to help at all times truly made a difference. The price was affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we hardly heard any road noise. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with everything we could possibly need—and then some! The location is ideal, within walking distance to nearby shops etc so everything was super convenient. We’ll absolutely be returning to 306 Riccarton Hotel next time we’re in Christchurch.
