A Japanese period building, which was used for the training and practice of martial arts

?: 高雄武德殿 Wude Martial Arts Center, Kaohsiung ?? (in between NSYSU & Hamasen station) A 100yr old Martial Arts Center built (1924) by the Japanese during the Japanese occupation period of Taiwan. The essence of Bushido 武士道 is very much present in this place. Nowadays it's used for cultural workshops and kendo classes.

Really beautiful space. Self guided, had to take off shoes to enter. The tree outside was not there anymore?I’m not sure if a typhoon destroyed it, very sad.
