Williamstown Botanical Gardens, Giffard St &, Osborne St, Williamstown VIC 3016, Australia
Stunning park located near the water. I love how people plan and create something that they’ll never see come to fruition. A beautiful Park with many trails, variety of plants and trees and plenty of grassy areas. Being autumn. Some trees were amazing. Popular for wedding photographs. Plenty of entry points - pick the one close to your car perhaps. Was quite taken back by the avenue of palms - thank you to the designers of this park. Well thought out. Notes: toilets nearby. Plenty of picnic tables and benches to sit on. Parking is good but not free. Dogs allowed on leash.
Absolutely stunning this place is. Beautiful flowers all around, nice and fresh. Lovely place to go for a walk/run then end up down at the beach across the road. Nice place for photo shoots! Plenty of carpark around. I didn’t see a toilet around unless it was around on the other end which we didn’t reach. It can also make a gorgeous venue for weddings and events, see photo attached. Have to apply for permit from Hobsons Bay City Council.
Lovely family picnic to celebrate our fathers 100th birthday. We found a sheltered spot with windbreak to the cooler breeze coming from the beach. Amenities close by and plenty of space and free parking. Highly recommend.
Perfect walk! Loved seeing fur babies & ppl just enjoying the peace & greenery. Opposite Willy Beach & lots of picnic spots to enjoy. There is a wedding booked in for the arvo… what a perfect day for it too!
