This 24-spoke dharma wheel, also known as an Ashoka Chakra, holds profound symbolism as one of the oldest representations of Buddhism globally. Much like the cross for Christianity or the Star of David for Judaism, the dharma wheel signifies Buddhism. This particular wheel, housed in a tableau supported on a lotus flower pedestal, features two deer, a buck, and a doe on either side.
