Review for Wat Yan Nawa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Wat Yan Nawa is a stunning and historic temple, rich with sacred objects and meaningful symbolism. It’s a peaceful place for worship, reflection, and experiencing the cultural heritage of Thailand. Here are some of the highlights: Sacred Objects to Worship • Navako Millionaire Statue: A unique 9-headed deity symbolizing wealth and prosperity. ? • Pagodas for the 12 Zodiac Signs: Pay homage to the pagoda representing your zodiac sign for blessings and good fortune. ?️ • Guan Yin and Phra Sangkachai Statues: Revered deities offering blessings of compassion and happiness. ? • Phra That Than Jai: A sacred relic believed to grant wishes quickly when prayed to with sincerity. Key Attraction: Samphao Yan Nawa The “Samphao Yan Nawa” (Chinese junk boat) is a must-see. • Measuring 21 wa 2 sok (42 meters) long and 8.5 meters wide, it symbolizes the prosperity of trade during the reign of King Rama III. ? • The junk boat represents the Chinese belief in wealth and success in trade, making it a focal point for those seeking blessings for business prosperity. • Historically, this boat highlights the flourishing trade during the Rattanakosin era, which filled the royal treasury with wealth (known as the “red bag” era). Additional Highlights • The Main Chapel (Ubosot): Featuring four seated Buddha statues in the Mara Vijaya posture. Though currently under renovation, alternative spaces for worship are thoughtfully arranged nearby. ? Wat Yan Nawa is not just a place for worship but also a significant historical site with a serene atmosphere. It’s perfect for both locals and tourists who want to immerse themselves in Thai culture and history. I’ve been visiting this temple since childhood, and it never fails to inspire peace and spiritual connection. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok! ? Location: Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok ⏰ Opening Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM A must-visit for blessings, peace, and a glimpse into Thailand’s rich past! ?✨

Really worthy to come to see the beautiful architecture of naval vehicle in the Thai temple here. Spacious place to welcome trendy crowded visitors and ample parking. The location is by the river, where you can see the scenery of Chao Phraya River with many tourist places.

14 Feb 2025 No entry ticket needed, just walk in to visit. There have few temples you can pay a workship, main workship place beside the boat shape temple, inside sold many type of Buddha status. And the boat shape temple you can go up there, workship place above the entrance you walk in. Therefore all toilet are free and you can take free water if available just beside the temple.
