Friendly muslim lady selling affordable and delicious matabak alongside the road right outside Haroon Mosque.
I enjoyed visiting this street of Muslim / halal food in the foot print of theMosque. I feel that this was larger pre COVID. The murtabak was gorgeous, fluffy and cooked in front of my eyes. The samosa was packed with creamy and lightly spiced veggies.
As I continue my search for halal food, my journey brought me to Masjid Haroon. The area is dotted with numerous halal food stalls, offering a variety of options. However, not many were open in the morning. For breakfast, I managed to have a simple plate of Pad Thai. It was enough to keep me going as I navigate this solo trip, embracing the challenges and joys of being a Muslim traveler.
Nice place for milk tea and some roti. Great stop while visiting the area and walking around. Enjoy!
