For me, this is number one whilst in Fremantle. The Western Australia Shipwreck Museum Fremantle is a great place to get a taste for Western Australia’s maritime history. It's full of history and stories. We spent just under two hours here. And surely you can spend many hours if you are into history and you have time for it. It's a beautiful place to learn and see how it was in the past. Highly recommend going there. It's a real gem. No entry fee but in my opinion definitely worth donation.
A fantastic museum with plenty of interesting exhibits about the history and ship wrecks around WA. A wonderful place to spend time with kids or just as adults. Interesting and well curated items on show.

History buffs, You won't be disappointed...great almost free outing! Gold coin donation but actually electronic deposit! The bonus for our visit was the sculptures on bathers beach.
Awesome attention to detail in this museum. The content could exceed hours and hours of reading. Highly recommend visiting, of course free entry is an option. But a few coins from your car or handbag could contribute in a big way.
