pinamg, Tj. Unggat, Kec. Bukit Bestari, Kota Tanjung Pinang, Kepulauan Riau 29125, Indonesia
This place is located on the side of the main road, pretty easy to find, and the place has a spacious parking lot. This Vihara is for buddhist but they also open for some tourists. The place is so wide, with a very large garden and huge statue of some Gods. The main building of this place is for praying, so if you are not buddhist, maybe it would be wise if you do not visit the building or take any picture of it. No entrance fee here, and the place is so quiet.
Great place only if you love visiting temples. Unfortunately the place isn't open for public now, since there are lots of construction works ongoing. It's a great place for praying and/or meditating. It also has a facility of crematorium and house of ashes.
Amazingly beautiful relatively new large Chinese temple with a very welcoming community. Temple is currently fundraising for the construction of a new pagoda offering the inclusion of a personalised tile on the wall of the pagoda for 1M rupiah.
very peaceful and serene visit. the area is very very large and has many slopes/stairs so may be a bit tiring! but worth the visit. no entrance fee.
Vihara Avalokitesvara Graha is a peaceful and quiet temple in Bintan. It’s a nice place to pray or just relax and enjoy the calm surroundings. The main attraction is the huge Guan Yin statue, standing over 16 meters tall. The temple is well-kept, with many beautiful statues and decorations. Just remember to take off your shoes before entering the hall. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bintan!
