Big beautiful waterfront park. There’s a statue of a Vietnamese royal prince. There’s some exercise equipment for use. There are several benches for relaxing. The beach and the big waves looked great. There is also a nice pagoda where the birds like to sit on top of it. Very well maintained and clean. Highly recommended

Very scenic little square across the street from the river and next to the business district, only a few blocks from the Bitexco Tower. There are beautiful flowers around a large pool with dozens of stone seats. I went at sunrise and you could cross the street/highway from the river with no problem. There are several 7-11s nearby if you want to get a snack and relax here.

Walking up to the Tran Hung Dao Statue felt like stepping into a moment of quiet strength. Even with the city buzzing around it, there's a peaceful air about this place. You can just feel the weight of history and respect in the atmosphere. For me, it wasn't just a statue of a historical figure. Looking at him, so resolute and facing forward, I felt a surge of something powerful – a mix of admiration for his courage and a sense of connection to Vietnam's past. It made me think about the resilience of people and the importance of standing up for what you believe in. Maybe it was the sunlight catching the bronze, or maybe it was just the moment, but I found it quite moving. It's more than just a landmark; it's a place that stirs something inside you. It's a reminder of strength, determination, and the enduring spirit of a nation. Honestly, it left a lasting impression, and I'd recommend anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City to take a moment to experience it for themselves. Definitely a 5 out of 5 for me.

High aura statue with a calming and scenic walk along the riverside. To get to the centre of it you do need to negotiate with a bit of South East Asian traffic but it’s nothing major.
