Our first meal in Ho chi min city and didn’t disappoint. We went there for brunch. We were the first customer. The place was nice and clean. They have tables upstairs too. Menu wise, they have good options of food. We didn’t have to wait long for the food. Food ? We ordered a non- veg thali, chicken curry, garlic naan, chicken momo and mango lassi. - Mango lassi was very refreshing. - The non- veg thali was ?? great. (I would highly recommend this) -The chicken curry was good. - The garlic naan, fresh and good size. - I wasn’t 100% happy with the chicken momo because the filling was a bit too dry, however the chutney that it came with was so good and spicy. One main issue with this restaurant was that on their website it says opens at 10:30 am so we reached their at 10:35 am and the staff said it actually opens at 11 am. We are glad that we did. But you guys need to fix that on your website. Apart from that, A good Indian restaurant in Ho chi Min, i would definitely recommend ??

Stayed in District 1 and looked for a good quality restaurant to enjoy our 1st meal in Ho Chi Minh City and found Dahi Handi Indian Restaurant. The restaurant enjoys a 4.7 rating so we felt it was worth a try. The food did not disappoint and was well presented with beautiful authentic Indian flavours. The servings were generous and well beyond our tummies' capacity. Our waiter Deep Chandra Arya (Deep) looked after us well ensuring everything was up to our expectation. Whilst the restaurant is not big, there are 2 floors and we dined on the 2nd floor due to numerous other diners also enjoying a meal. We can highly recommend the Butter Chicken & Laal Maans (Mutton Curry) with Garlic naan. Vety reasonable price wise & worth a visit in Dist 1.
Staff (her name is Bích) explains menu well and pleasantly. Cozy armchairs and iconic Indian vibes can be felt; I particularly loved the velvet cushions that compliment the said armchairs beautifully. Popular with both foreign and domestic diners. Background music is soft and gentle, with just enough volume to calm any restless minds on the spot. Complimentary food surprised me as I didn’t expect there would be such generosity!
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Saigon. I will definitely keep coming back. The service was superb! My kids were fans of the mango lassi. Lyn and Luna were great at taking care of us. Thank you!
