No. 52號, Gongyuan Rd, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan 100
Dorothy led us on an amazing and informative tour of Old Taipei! We learned so much about Taiwan’s history and the society they are continuing to build today. We saw lots of great sights and had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Taipei!! ??
Dorothy was a fab tour guide. Despite the long and complicated history of Taiwan, she managed to condese it down in to a short and understandable context, across the three hour tour. Dorothy expertly navigated the group through the Old Town of Taipei, giving her take of living in the city as a Taipei resident. Would definitely recommend.
Super informative tour about Taiwan’s history! I wished I had found this tour earlier in my trip so that I can appreciate the cultural aspects. Dorothy was amazing at explaining everything, I can feel her passion when she is sharing. And the ang bao at the end was such a nice touch, truly giving us a touch of Taiwan ◡̈ Thank you so much for such a great tour Dorothy!
I thoroughly enjoyed Dorothy's old town tour and honestly wish it could be more than 2 hours. Even after many visits to Taiwan, this was the first time I truly gained a clearer introductory understanding of the country’s history and international affairs from a local perspective.
?228 Peace Park, Presidential Palace, The Red House, Ximending Walking District, and an amazing market trip and got to drink a grass jelly drink! “I am Leo~ call me Leo. But if you don’t like me, call me Bessy.” ? said by our tour guide Leo, lol. Out of all the things he said, that’s what struck me the most. But of course, I still learned a lot. And also things I’m familiar with. I booked this tour with high hopes, and glad it exceeded my expectations. I love learning about history and bit of politics. The whole walking tour I never doubted Leo, every information is accurate and well-explained. What made it more unforgettable is the tourists with us. I am glad to meet people from other parts of the world. I am proud that Taiwan and its people always keep their feet on the ground. Kind, lively, and beautiful people everywhere. The energy they give adds to the life of a place that is sometimes misunderstood. It is just more than a place, it is a peaceful sanctuary. As more people visit Taiwan, I hope they continue to take care of this safe place. Lastly, no one should ever forget the past. Xiexie, Leo from Taiwan for this wonderful historical experience! Hope to come back soon in Taiwan ???
