Visited the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Centre in Penang and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds, making it easy to explore at my own pace. The exhibition detailing the history of China's first revolution was incredibly informative and provided valuable insights into this pivotal moment in history. The ticket price of RM 10 for adults was quite affordable. One highlight of the visit was the opportunity to capture photos with numerous historical figures. However, it was disappointing to find that many of these figures were displayed behind glass that was not always clean, which affected the quality of the photos. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about this significant period in Chinese history.

Nice museum, not many tourist & very informative. Best part is that both locals & tourist pays the same $10rm entry fee. Staff was kind to enough to explain briefly what to expect from each sections (5). There was a section mostly written in Mandarin which I couldn’t understand.

definitely worth a visit and please leave some more time for rethink and linking to the past. The staff is very helpful and he explained to us the main highlights of the memorial hall. After the visit, I was deeply moved by the efforts and sacrifices made by the Malaysian Chinese for the survival of the war of resistance and the continuation of national culture. At the same time, I also recognized the greatness of Dr. Sun Yat-sen again.

It was truly an amazing experience! The five exhibition rooms provide a wealth of detailed information, accompanied by images of Mr Sun Yat-sen, his revolutionary efforts, the Nanyang transportation volunteers, the Japanese occupation, and the subsequent anti-Japanese movement in Malaya. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will definitely return in the future. It is an experience well worth the modest RM10 entry fee, and I look forward to sharing it with others!

Anyways, tbh, I didn't expect myself to visit this place as I have visited the Sun Yat Sen Museum, but due to a mistake / misunderstanding in an invalid purchase of tickets online, I am graced with this opportunity to visit the museum and is also meet the owner which was very friendly and engaging, providing my friends and I, a very in depth yet also a very concise explanation of the entire history before we dived deep into enjoying the exhibits. When it comes to the museum, it was one of the best museum or memorial centre that displays very in depth information related to Sun Yat Sen's revolutionary journey from the beginning to the end, and also in detail the impacts of said revolutions to China and Malaysia (how each of the states was influenced, the introduction of the first Chinese newspaper in Malaysia, etc). To keep things short: YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY VISIT THIS MEMORIAL CENTRE!
