Excellent taste: the food is healthy and has lots of flavor. They clearly use fresh and quality ingredients. Good value for money. The braised mushrooms are superb. Also enjoyed the brinjal with basil sauce and mapo tofu. I appreciate that they have brown rice too. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.
One of the great choice of vegetarian restaurant in Penang. Overall the food is okay. Price is very reasonable. There is 8 of us, We order 8 dish and a pot of tea. And is only RM 159. Considered a very great deal. The menu has a variety choice to choose from. The only problem is limited parking. Overall great experience.
The only headache I have is the parking. But should you be lucky to find one, this place is not bad. I wouldn't call their choices extensive but it can definitely stand on its own. The petai was fresh but average and the only reason I didn't like it was that the taste was flat and the gravy a little watery. The rendang was fortunately a better attempt. I liked the thick gravy with its flavorful spicy taste. The satay was also an eye opener. Good sauce and good chew on the 'meat'. Perfectly delicious. I also found the brinjal yummy. Cooked so well that the brinjal had this 'bite' yet soft enough to absorb the flavor of the thin layer of gravy sticking to it. The tofu was soft and the mushroom gravy complimented the tofu superbly. Well salted gravy to balance the heavy mushroom aroma that mixes with the tofu well. In short. Good food. Great tasting. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staffs.
Old Penang Ambience with local Penang food in vegetarian mode. The food was tasty and garnished with their morning setup & music. Loved it
Good service ? Otak otak tastes good 8/10 Bakuteh and Curry mee 5/10 (taste at the mild side)
