It’s on a small hill, so some hiking will be required to reach the spot. I recommend climbing the stairs beside the police station, then following the road up to the spot and not follow what google recommends as some of the stairs are blocked by trees and debris.

Decided to walk from City Suite ChenAi to the Shoushan LOVE lookout which is about 2kms. Start the journey up about 700m left, very pleasant casual stroll up. Breathtaking amazing views all corner and surprise guest appearances by some monkeys also. Up here literally can see the whole Kaohsiung city and there port area as well as cijin and Shoushan till the ChonShan University. Everyone should come up at least once, and if u are adventurous and enough time, there r lots of trail to explore the mountain further.

A very beautiful and peaceful place. You can visit any day, any time, free of cost. The serene and clean environment allows you to observe the entire city of Kaohsiung. It's the perfect spot to enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets.

The best spot where you can see all of Kaohsiung! Worth the hike! It's free and a very relaxing place to stay.

better book an uber when visiting this place…even if there is a nearby tram station you still need to hike going up
