Have a nice visit here, free friendly tour, good environment, parking is sufficient. Toilet facilities is good, good history learning about tin mining in this country. Proud of our local brand which is of high quality and recognition. Such great achievement by this family who runs this business. Interesting trip. Thank you.

I love the fact that pewter is basically I 100% recycleable product as every piece of scrap is melted and reused. The factory was closed for lunch when I was there but still had a couple ladies showing how labour intensive the process is to make items. I was intrigues to learn that a pewter mug will keep a cold drink cold for a long period without ice. How animal figures were currency. The topper was the showroom. Wow the detail in some of the pieces is phenomenal. If ever in KL add it to your list of stops.

The place gives a good take on the history and experience of Royal Selangor Pewter. The workshop is fun. The displays are engaging. The staff are all friendly, courteous and well spoken. Overall a good enough experience. The critique of the place and experience is that it is not well managed and led. 1. Reception could have better communicated when and where of the tour. 2. Better sign placement. Eg. Where does the tour start. Map of the place. 3. The tour misses out some places in the centre. 4. What the tour guide tells and shows is so skimpy. There so much history and stories. It is a missed opportunity. 5. Better queue control for the wayang kulit show. All these show where management can step in to improve.

The tour was very insightful full of facts, never knew the actual history behind making pewter. The factory and their staff i think are their best asset the amount of dedication that goes into their craft is breathtaking. Each of them are highly talented. We also joined to school of hard knocks that was lead by Mr. HAFIZ , he was awesome and humorous made us feel right at home pounding our pewter disc into a bowl. Worth the experience.

Beautifully designed cafe with glass walls to allow natural sunlight in and customers to see the surrounding greenery while having coffee or a meal. I came for their Sunday jazz performance which was just amazing.... The pewter shop has excellent pieces for souvenirs while the tour is educational for a truly Malaysian Heritage Artisanal Business dating back to 1885
