The National Police Museum is a longstanding museum of the Indonesian National Police to the public, in society as a protector and guard within, and also as a war force in defending Indonesia's independence. The museum was inaugurated on June 29, 2009, and was opened to the public on July 1, 2009. The museum is the wish of Police General Hendraso.[2] This museum is located at Jalan Trunojoyo No. 3 Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The museum is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday with free tickets.

Interesting Museum. Museum Polri Or National Police Museum Of Indonesia Is Located Inside The Complex Of National Indonesian Police Headquarter. Although It's Very Well Maintained & Managed, The Museum Doesn't Really Get Much Attention Because It's "Hidden". It Showcases The History Of The National Police Before Its Creation & After Its Creation On The First Floor. Then Modern Day National Police On The Second Floor. There Are Collections Of Weaponry, Police Attributes, Medals, And Even Items That You See In Spy Movies. There's Also A Police Patrol Car Located Before The Stairs To The Second Floor. The Third Floor Showcases The History Of Metro Jakarta Police Department And A Collection Of Debris Left By Some Of The Most Horrifying Bombings In Modern Indonesian History Like Bali Bombing (2002 & 2005) & JW Marriott Hotel Bombing (2003)

Innovative and interactive features —they have touchscreen projection and VR technology. Kid-friendly with its play area that provides children with books, slides, police uniforms, traffic signs, toy cars and motorcycles, and even a virtual game about spotting traffic violations. Free entry, although visitors are required to present a valid ID to access the building as it is located within the police headquarters. The downsides: no parking space. —- I did not expect much at first, but the exhibits turned out to be very interesting. Such a shame this museum is not much a well-known spot to visit, as it has so much potential to help improve the public image of the police. It deserves more recognition and is definitely worth a visit.
