So many walking trails to do ! Interesting stories about Aboriginal culture and early century pastoralism! The sceneries are great , red, ocre, brown and blues......

Check out signboard at the both corners of the Loop Road. Several trails from short to medium (2.7-5km) and the diehard summit trail (13km return). The Cattle Pool is the only water body in this area. The only camping or accommodation is at the Mt Augustus Tourist Park. Nearly Emu Hill Lookout is great for sunrise viewing. Be aware no dogs allowed in the National Park area.

It’s a remote location and not easy to get to but you will be rewarded with seeing the world’s biggest rock. There are easy and challenging trails to do and seeing its treasures such as Aboriginal engravings The ever changing colour of the rock and the remoteness make it an amazing place.

Very good, we only did the easy walking ?‍♀️ trails,you would need to be fit & well prepared for the more difficult trails ,plenty of bird ? song today, wildflowers???& butterflies ?, only drop toilets ? available, take food & water with you,enjoy your visit ?we visited in late winter, cool @ night ? but perfect days ❤️ ?
