The place it’s beautiful and well kept. The sound of water, the little bridges, the trees, everything is really pleasing to eyes. I was there today (early October) on perfect warm day. I stayed there for 3 hours. The food I ordered for lunch was chicken its was tasty, big portion, fresh. The food was not greasy , just the right level of tenderness. Just my Personal preference, I would have liked the chicken on a plate rather than a bowl, because my cutlery was making noise. ? The staff is so polite. It’s for all ages. If you are meeting up with some, the easiest is to meet at the cafe, rather than the entrance because there are multiple entrances.
Such a lovely garden with a lot of spaces to picnic and sit. The ducks are cute, and the cafe in the garden looks nice.
Gardens are absolutely stunning, such a fabulous setting. Went for High Tea ...which was just scrumptious!! Service was friendly and welcoming.
Caught up with my friend and nephew over a picnic lunch sitting near a peaceful river and beautiful gardens. Dog friendly, toilets, rose garden, cafe not sure if it for special occasions. Beautiful place to explore.
A lovely place for a stroll. Benches are placed throughout the property, there is a café, and free, guided tours are offered some days (e.g., two Saturdays in May). I especially liked the Fernery, with its coolness and tranquility. People were enjoying a sunny autumn day on the café’s patio.
