Definitely a place to visit if you want a good sweeping view of the entire Gold Coast. There is a sealed walking path to a lovely viewing platform. The first platform looks north and east, the second (along the path) looks east and south. Both worth the effort of the path up the hill!

Mick Shamburg Park provided a delightful escape during our recent visit. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, this hidden gem offered stunning views of the city skyline against a backdrop of serene weather. What truly stood out was the tranquility of the park; despite its breathtaking vistas, it wasn't overrun by crowds, allowing for a peaceful and intimate experience. Capturing the essence of the park's beauty, my drone soared to new heights, revealing the mesmerizing landscapes and architectural wonders that lay below. From sweeping panoramas of the cityscape to the intricate details of the park's surroundings, each aerial shot was a testament to the park's natural and man-made allure. Whether you're seeking a quiet retreat to admire the skyline or hoping to capture stunning aerial footage, Mick Shamburg Park offers a picturesque setting that won't disappoint. It's a serene oasis amidst the urban landscape, inviting visitors to unwind, explore, and marvel at the wonders of nature and architecture.

Lots of road and park works on here when we visited but lookout was really nice. Short steep walk up. Small board walk with seating and $2 telescope but didn't work, don't bother. Definitely worth a visit if you are in area as the views of the coastline are beautiful.

Located on the headland at the northern end of Burleigh Heads, this is a great spot to watch the sunrise and see whales going past during migration season. A short walk from parking and accommodation locations, after you walk up to the lookout be sure to grab a coffee at the surf club nearby.
