Mick Schamburg Park Lookout

We were staying at the nearby caravan park and need to go for a walk. Following the path next to the beach brought us up to this amazing lookout. Views to the North and South of the Gold coast are spectacular. Well worth the short climb up the stairs/path.

This is probably the best lookout out of the three here at Mick Schamburg Park. The walk up to the lookout is along a lovely shaded path. The lookout overlooks the sea and the beach. There are seats here to sit and enjoy the view. A telescope is positioned here, which you could use after inserting a two dollar coin! You can park at the free car park, which is accessible from Kelly Avenue, alongside the road.

Probably a must-see spot in this part of the GC it’s an excellent location to watch the sunrise and see migrating whales in the cooler months. An easy walk from nearby street parking, there are a number of benches to sit on while you absorb nature’s beauty. After checking the view be sure to grab a coffee from the nearby surf club.

In my opinion, this is the best beachfront lookout of all in Gold Coast. You can see like the entire coastline of Gold Coast from Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads, to Coolangatta. All the visitors should come here to see the most magnificent landscape here. On top of that, there are even wild lizards emerging all of a sudden, which is exhilarating.

In my top three favourite spots in the Gold Coast. Lots of memories there. Not too easy to find a spot to park your car but if you get to, there is only a short walk and then you have that amazing view.
