In February, we spent a delightful afternoon at Lumphini Park in Bangkok. The park offered a serene environment, perfect for a leisurely walk. We were pleasantly surprised to find free paddle boats available, allowing us to enjoy the lake at no cost. A highlight of our visit was observing the numerous water monitor lizards roaming freely—a unique and fascinating sight. Near the entrance, we found a stand selling affordable drinks, which was a nice touch. The park was not crowded, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere. With its well-maintained grounds and diverse attractions, Lumphini Park stands out as the best park in Bangkok.

I found this park noted online while I was staying at a nearby hotel and walked to it one morning. It feels very safe, with lots of people exercising and also security guards posted. The views are beautiful with all the greenery in the middle of the city. It was a lot of fun to see the water monitors, and they didn’t bother anyone. Very nice park!

It's an interesting thing to have a cute little park right near such a busy road. Noise pollution wise it can be intense, but it's also very gorgeous and convenient to get to. Bonus is that there are monitor lizards in the lake and lots of friendly cats around. - 1 Star for the noise pollution.

What a beautiful spot in the middle of the city! Credit to the urban planning that saw this place maintained as a green lung and then developed with some amenities for the public. The paddle boating was great with Monitor Lizards gliding by for company. Get used to them as they are the original inhabitants of the park. Else, stick to the jogging tracks.
