Absolutely loved this experience. We did the tea ceremony with a kimono rental and I definitely recommend it. It was so cool to get dressed up in a kimono. The ladies were so nice and did my hair beautifully. The tea ceremony was very cool too. They have a garden outside to take photos in as well. This is one of my favorite things I did on my trip.
Watching the geicko and maiko dance was very interesting and overall it was very cool to learn more about gheishas. I recommend pairing this with the evening free geisha tour.
A beautiful and intersting tea ceremoni hosted by Moe who speaks really good English. She told us a lot and made us all feel very comfortable Even in the Kimono?
This was a lot of fun and my family really enjoyed learning about matcha and tea preparation and the ceremony involved. We enjoyed the tea very much, and when we lost our souvenir socks in the laundry bags the staff was extremely accommodating.
That was an incredible experience! Maiko-san was gorgeous. We had the chance to ask her a question, and then we watched an amazing traditional dance performance. Special thanks to our cute English guide, Madoka-san, for explaining everything about geiko and maiko! I really enjoyed it! Thank you!
