Insadong has a historic vibe mixed with modern culture. Jogyesa Temple is a beautiful site and the culture street has many authentic souvenirs and clothing to shop through. The Starbucks is one of the only ones that is written in a native language too. Seating is limited though!

a nice little area to look/shop for cultural antiques! insa-dong isn’t too crowded and relatively quiet. some palaces are within walking distance.

Lots of great stores here. Google says it opens at 10:00 but many places were not open until 10:30. It's a great place to shop for souvenirs, but there's not as much food available here as there was in Myeongdong Shopping Street.

A crowded area, and things to be explored here: and complex building with some restaurants; along the street a hand made, clothing, souvenirs stores and if you’re having time to explore you will find good stuff and unique here.

This is a very relaxed street for strolling and shopping. It was much less crowded than some areas in Myeongdong, especially because we were there before noon. And the vendors and shopkeepers were not so aggressive. There was an artistic vibe amongst the many varied shops, with much less of a flea market look and feel than some other shopping streets.
