Historic structure but off limits. You can watch and admire at a distance. There are some plaques and information about its history. Hopefully, in the future, people can walk into the gate.

Impressive view from the top of the wall. Where ancient and modern architecture blended together. A must see if you enjoy historical.

Beautiful and massive east gate of Seoul. Delightful to see up close at night. Recommend a walk around it. Well restored.

Worth a brief visit even it's a main intersection and so quite a lot of traffic around. Not sure if you can go inside as it was locked when I was there. Impressive structure nonetheless.
