Very big, beautiful, well maintained park with a large lake, gardens, and waterfalls. Leads to a crescent shaped forested mountain with several temples to various deities. The buddha temple and large statue that can be seen from a distance can be walked to from the park, passing other temples and going up some stairs. Under the statue, there is a temple with statues and beautiful art of the buddhas life. From near here, the cable car goes to the other side of the mountain and other interesting temples. 200 baht for the short return journey. There is a road all the way around so it can also be accessed by vehicles.

I like the view here, I can see HatYai city from here. The best time to come here is to catch the sunset. It seemed so many people love to do trekking and cycling up to the mountain's city view.

We arrived in the laye afternoon and it was a beautiful well kept public park. It was relaxing and windy. You can see locals sitting by the lake painting figurines. To the edge of the lake was a large open structure where some locals were doing zumba. Plenty of people were having their evening run. There were some tourist such as yours truly visiting out of curiosity. The landscaping is not your traditional landscaping... but it's pretty nonetheless.

Peaceful and serene, The Park serves as a resting point for the bustling Hat Yai. From the mini zoo and artificial lake at the lower level to a breezy and rather noiseless hill that towers over the municipality, it is a great spot to hang out and zoom out from the rowdiness of the daily lives. Easy access and spacious; plenty parking space, though can be challenging to find one during crowded events.

I went there as a backpacker, I don't have any vehicle to reach on the top to see the Lord Buddha statue. But they have Bus for Sight Seeing for 20 Bhat its very convenient and Time saver. I really appreciate that they have the facility. Special Thanks to the Staff at the Ticket counter.
