Cool little religious complex. Though it is a bit small. But you can feel the vibe when you step inside: serene and completely abandoned by tourists (but not religious Hindus?). When I was there only a Russian family was finishing up. The stone structure seems dated back to a long time. There was an info sign but I forgot the details, just know that it was long. Again, on word: serene. I don’t mind sitting on the stone staircases and meditating for the whole rainy afternoon. It is weird how those religious places in Bali have you such energy. This is truly the spirit of the island of Gods, especially in Ubud ?.

Goa Garba is a hidden gem that offers a unique and enriching experience. Although the parking area is somewhat limited, the low number of tourists ensures that it adequately meets parking needs. The entrance fee is quite reasonable, at IDR 20,000 for domestic visitors and IDR 30,000 for foreign tourists. At the ticket counter, sarongs are provided, which adds to the cultural authenticity of the visit. If you’re visiting during the rainy season, be prepared with insect repellent, as mosquitoes can be prevalent. The site itself is lush and filled with historical relics that offer much to explore and learn. The few visitors it attracts maintain the serene and untouched atmosphere of the place, making for a peaceful and introspective visit. Overall, Goa Garba is a tranquil and historically rich destination, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and immerse themselves in Bali's natural and cultural heritage.

Amazing temple. highly recommend visiting. When I went on the weekday, I was the only person there . careful on the walk down it can be slippery even when dry. in addition to the temple, there’s a pathway down to the river , which has clean water and very little trash. if you visit its only 30k (cash). please help keep the site clean and pick up little bits of plastic trash if you see any, there’s a trash bin on-site as well. There wasn’t very much plastic because it’s not such a touristy spot yet (which also means no traffic on the way over)

Absolutely incredible, highly recommend. If you’re into ancient sites & Hinduism, Lord Shiva, spirituality, this is a very cool place. I wish I had stayed longer but my Grab driver offered to stay for me because he said getting grab back to Ubud would be difficult, so I only stayed 30 minutes. Honestly, wish i had taken the risk and stayed to meditate. I’d suggest bringing a blanket to sit down on, bug spray. It’s so quiet and has the real spiritual energy that i was looking for in Bali. If i remember right, it was 30k to get in and they provided a sarong. Super nice people working at the temple as well. There are certain temple and sites where you can feel a higher presence, this was one of those spots. I think that’s why it doesn’t attract a lot of tourism, it’s one of those places that finds you.

Authentic relaxed place to visit. Not many tourists. In fact none. Worth a look
