Cool winding and not too steep road from Medewi to Seririt. Peaceful nature with very less traffic. Prepare rain coats as this area is prone to heavy rain throughout the year in late afternoon. 2000 IDR fee as parking, stopping for selfie photos. If just passing through is free of charge.

Friendly group of people around. Cool and spiritual tree, can be bad luck to drive under it if you aren't married. Goodluck once married. Small fee 5-10k to take photos or selfies.

5 stars Bunut Bolong is one of those rare and magical places that truly stays with you. Nestled in the hills of West Bali, this sacred tree with a natural tunnel carved through its roots is not only a natural wonder but also a deeply spiritual site. The moment you arrive, you can feel the peaceful energy surrounding it—calm, ancient, and sacred. Driving through the giant banyan tree is an unforgettable experience. It’s more than just a photo opportunity—this place has strong spiritual significance for the Balinese people. On either side of the tree, you’ll find small temples that are beautifully kept, reminding visitors of the deep respect the locals have for nature and tradition. The tree itself is enormous, majestic, and awe-inspiring. It’s a perfect symbol of how nature and spirituality are deeply intertwined in Bali. We took a quiet moment to simply stand and appreciate the powerful presence of this place—it truly feels alive. The surrounding area is just as stunning. With lush greenery and cool mountain air, Bunut Bolong offers a perfect stop if you’re exploring West Bali or heading towards Pemuteran or Negara. There are hardly any crowds, which makes the experience even more personal and special. If you appreciate sacred places, nature, and authenticity, Bunut Bolong is absolutely worth a visit. It’s not just a tree—it’s a living temple, a cultural treasure, and a peaceful place to connect with the spirit of Bali.
