WCVQ+QPG, Senggarang, Tanjung Pinang Kota, Tanjung Pinang City, Riau Islands 29115, Indonesia
A bucket list location for us when visiting Indonesia. Easily addressable from the main road. This tiny temple has been overtaken by a huge banyan tree as the name suggests. Actually one of the smallest temples I have ever seen but worth the trip. No entry fee though there is a donation box at the front. A bit rustic surroundings and not the typical tourist trap, quite rural with wild chickens and other animals about but no worries, they are more curious than anything else.
Very small Temple wrapped by trees, an old uncle is taking care it
Historical & sacred place at Senggarang Village, the first chinese compound at 17th century in island.
Very interesting temple from 1811! The surrounding houses on water are also interesting.
Really cool temple to see the massive old banyan tree as well. Worth a visit if you are already in the area.
