Perdana Botanical Gardens, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Nice place to chill. Some huts near the lake offer nice view over the lake. Visited on a rainy weekday hence no crowds, enjoyed the quiet moments with chill breeze. Note the huts with weight limits
I was very impressed by how solid this place is and the lovely craftsmanship. It is well maintained and there were more adults admiring this place and chilling, than there were Children playing.
A slightly different building where the main material is bamboo tree trunks. The entire building is intended and designed as a playground for children, but it can also spark the imagination of adults. Parts of the building are made of iron pipes painted in the same color as the bamboo trunks.
Connected by elegant white bridges, the Bamboo Playhouse in Perdana Botanical Garden beckons with a unique charm. Stepping inside feels like entering a natural sanctuary, where the intricate bamboo structures create a play of light and shadow. More than just an architectural feat, this space sparks a sense of childlike wonder in visitors of all ages. Even as an adult, I found a unique joy in wandering through its thoughtfully designed spaces, a welcome respite for relaxation. The playhouse's lakeside setting enhances its serene and picturesque beauty, making it a must-visit for those seeking a harmonious blend of innovative design and natural beauty in the concrete city.
