Nice park but it outdoor part of it is really not that big. There’s quite a few butterflies to see The indoor insects museum is actually more interesting cos we can see the insects more close up cos they are in the aquariums. Overall a good place to spend weekends with family.
A perfect place for butterfly enthusiasts. The park is not huge and you can tour the whole place in less than 2 hours. Lots of greeneries inside with mini waterfalls and this made the place kind of humid. Be prepared to sweat inside the park. Fortunately, after touring the park, you can view display of beautiful insects (live or preserved), scorpions, beetles, snakes and etc in an air conditioned area. Finish of your tour by getting some great souvenirs and enjoy some cold drinks with ice cream.
This is a really lovely oasis and escape from busy KL. The enclosure is quite large and spread over a few levels. It was very quiet when I visited. It was just nice to slow down and be amongst the butterflies and nature. Recommend combining with a visit to the Botanic Gardens. 30MYR reasonable entry price.
Visited twice while I was in KL. Loved how lush it was. The number of butterflies seems to rise and fall quickly as they have short lifespans, so the number you see may vary day-to-day. Fascinating 'museum' at the end too with lots of different insects on display. Good to combine with a visit to the botanical gardens.
A lot of colourful butterfly, beautiful garden. Got koi fish pond. Got other reptiles such as frog, centipede, milipede, scorpion, grasshoper. As my son love animals and bugs, he love it so much here ?? Worth to visit.
