You get what you pay for, which is accommodation for $70 USD a night within 10 minutes from Taipei 101.

Rooms are in the basement with no windows.

Front desk is supposed to be 24/7 but the guy is mostly in the back and not always easily available.

The room itself is small but complete with everything you will need for a short stay. The only things I would complain are:

1) Shower area drains very slowly if at all. I took a shower right after I checked in and the floor was still wet after 24 hours.

2) Wifi is rather slow. You can’t stream very well. A YouTube clip would need to be played at the lowest quality to run properly. At times the internet would go completely offline. It happened to me on day one at 4am. I was still jet lagging and still up at 4am, and the internet suddenly lost connection for a couple of hours.

We walked in and immediately got hit with a smell that was a mix of cigarettes and truck-stop bathroom. Our room was also dirty and had a giant dust ball in the corner. The air was so horrible we left the hotel immediately to find other accommodations. 0 stars. TERRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This place is closer to MRT but the rooms lack window as the place is in basement. Also the mattress had stains, washer and dryer are in the public toilets, wouldn’t recommend using them as it is very time consuming to dry the clothes.
Overall the experience was 2/5.

The room had a very strong chemical or mold smell. My wife and I could only stay in the room for 30 minutes before leaving. They offered to change the room but the other had the smell too. 2 stars for the customer support, giving me a partial refund (Agoba kept half) and trying to change the room but definitely dont stay here, regardless of price. I've never left a room before. Disappointing
