We self-checked in late at night and stayed for a few nights. This budget hostel offers a fantastic location, just a short walk from the Ximending Night Market and the MRT station. Our room didn’t have a window, which made it a bit humid, but it was very clean overall. I appreciated the coffee and tea station in the common area, which added a nice touch to our stay. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for affordability and convenience!

It's not bad overall. The room is a bit small, but it's okay. Since it's a backpacker hostel, I wasn't expecting much in terms of service. There's a water dispenser, washing machine, and dryer. The common area is decent. It's a bit of a walk from Taipei Main Station, but still walkable, and it's also not far from Ximending. There are also convenient stores and restaurants nearby.

No frills budget hotel in the heart of Taipei. 10 mins of walk to Taipei main station, Taipei Airport MRT, and Ximending district. I had one of their private rooms with ensuite bathroom it was very clean, with soft bedding and adequate space to open your luggage. They are considerate enough to provide special electric plugs so I don't need to use my adapter. My bathroom was an accessible bathroom, so it was very big. But it lacks hanger so I had to put my clothes in the sink counter. My complaint was the bathroom always got a faint pee smell, despite being clean. I think it came from the sewer. Additionally, the water pressure was weak when I used the hot shower. But it was still manageable. Plus point from the bathroom: the toilet got a japanese bidet!! The local govt has banned single use toileteries, so no combs, tooth brush and tooth paste were provided. But the hotel do provide shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Being a budget hotel, they don't clean your room. So make sure to take out smelly trashes outside to prevent your room from smelling. The hotel also provided water dispenser in the main area. And also super fast wifi.
