20 Chakrabongse Rd, Chana Songkhram, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
Exceptional location, staff and cleanliness. Breakfast perfect to start the day. Pool area brilliant for a time to chill. The only reason it’s 4 out of 5 is as mentioned in other reviews the room we had was a little fusty smell in our room although the room was spotless. We had an internal room so the ones on outside may be better. Still would recommend this place thank you chillax
Cracking location - a 2-3 min walk from Khaosan Road, just far enough to serve as a quiet retreat from the buzz of the area. Room was a modest size - modern and clean with a firm, comfy bed. Service was helpful and always came with a smile and breakfast buffet was generous, covering Thai, European and US cuisines. Pool area well kept with lots of sunbeds - perhaps could do with a little background music to improve ambience (but maybe that's just me). Great mid range hotel in the heart of the action - would certainly stay again.
The location was great. It was right near Khao San Road, and it was a convenient walk to several restaurants and sightseeing spots (i.e., the Grand Palace). Everyone at reception and at the hotel were very friendly and professional. There is also a rooftop pool, especially for those extremely hot days. Our room didn't not face the main road so there was not much noise coming from the streets. Our first night sleep was interrupted by a strong smell of Mary Jane - so would advise future stayers to keep the aircon going the entire night. The walls between rooms are thin, other than the one occasion that our drunk neighbours returned loudly at 2am, the sleep was great.
Great, well-maintained hotel. Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the breakfast! We stayed at this hotel for three weeks. It was a bit noisy, as people were coming and going every day.
We had a generally pleasant stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent. There were a couple of things worth noting. Sound travels quite a bit, so we could hear doors closing and people talking in the hallways, which made early mornings a bit noisy. The breakfast setup is also a bit unusual. You collect your food from a room in the lobby, then head to a separate dining area. Because of this, you can sometimes hear the clatter of dishes from your room. Housekeeping was okay, though it felt a bit minimal during our three-night stay. We tend to keep things tidy ourselves, but a little extra attention to detail would have made it feel more polished as there was no vaccuming or sweeping done at all. All in all, a pleasant hotel with a great location, ideal for nightlife and close to the palace.
