QF7W+H7W, Phra Athit Rd, Chana Songkhram, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
It's a great little park area where many locals and tourists come to relax. Plenty space for a picnic or exercise. Personally, it is my favourite spot to watch the sunset and boats cruising on the river. In the evening there is a chance to practise dancing with local people and listen to the music . Can't wait to go back there. It's one of my favourite spots in Bangkok .
Very nice park. One of only two of the original forts. Go in the morning and it was nearly empty, very good pics with the sunrise in the background. No smoking or alcohol.
This park is truly a feast for the eyes, with its lush greenery and vibrant flowers. The historic fort stands proudly, a testament to the past. A gentle breeze whispers through the trees, creating a peaceful ambiance. One can easily lose track of time while strolling along the winding paths. It's the perfect place to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature and history.
This old fortress is surrounded by a beautiful park, but unfortunately, activities like picnicking or walking pets are no longer allowed. It’s a bit sad—when I was younger, people used to come here for all sorts of activities, and it felt much more lively. But I do understand the need to protect and preserve the heritage. Maybe not everyone treated the space with the care it deserved.
Can only view from the outside, surrounded by a very nice park.
