Great place for a family stay- there is a decent pool which is maintained. Buffet breakfast has good variety of foods. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendy and helpful, would definately reccommend this place. One thing though worth mentioning is that there is a prayer house next to the hotel and you will hear the rather loud adhan around 6.15 AM (other times probably too, but we were not around).

A Truly Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs

Our stay at the villa was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff set the tone for what turned out to be a thoroughly disappointing visit. After a long journey, we were greeted with unfriendly and unwelcoming faces. The receptionists didn’t even bother to stand up from their seats and greeted us with nothing more than a curt “yes?” – hardly the warm welcome one expects after traveling.

The most significant issue, however, is the hotel’s location. It is situated directly next to a mosque, and the loudspeakers are positioned right above the rooms. While the early 6 AM call to prayer is somewhat understandable, what follows is an hour of loud readings and speeches. The volume is unbearable, and I cannot stress enough just how disruptive this is. If you value rest or relaxation, this is simply not the place for you.

The rooms themselves are basic, which could be excusable for the price, but the constant buzzing and clicking noises coming from the electrical boards and air conditioning made it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. I brought this to the attention of the reception, and their response was nothing short of rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue or showing concern, they outright refused my request to move rooms and showed no willingness to investigate the noise.

To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he wasn’t available.

Adding to the discomfort, the rooms have no external windows. The only window is by the door, facing a noisy corridor where sound travels easily. To top it off, smells from the kitchen seep into the room, which is incredibly unpleasant, especially in the mornings. Speaking of mornings, the breakfast offering was so poor that we decided to skip it entirely after one look.

A good hotel experience relies on hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort—all of which this villa fails to deliver. However, the most unforgivable aspect of our stay was the sheer lack of care and professionalism from the staff. They had multiple opportunities to rectify our concerns and chose not to.

I’m not interested in receiving any response from the hotel now, as they had ample chances to address these issues during our stay. My advice to anyone considering booking this place—don’t. Avoid at all costs.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I was thoroughly let down by the subpar services at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a swarm of mosquitoes at the reception and in our room. To make matters worse, we found small, red insects on our bed pillows. The towels and bed sheets were dirty, and the air conditioner was in poor condition, attracting even more mosquitoes.

Given the high rates they charge, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the hotel fails to deliver on its promises. I would strongly advise against wasting your money on this hotel. One star is even too generous for this establishment.

The only positive of this hotel is the location as it is located near the touristy areas namely the pantai cenang street and the beach which made accessing the places we wanted to go easy.

However, the negatives far outweighed the sole positive.
Firstly, if you are sensitive to noise, I would not recommend this hotel at all. The prayers from the mosque beside and are especially loud. The prayers start at 6am to 7am and 9pm to 1030pm. This made rest practically impossible.
Secondly, the hotel is filled with mosquitoes. If you do intend to stay here, please bring lots of mosquito repellent.
Lastly, there was a particular receptionist who was rude throughout our entire stay at the hotel.

In summary, I would have a hard time recommending this location unless the management is able to do something to solve all the above said issues.

Stayed here with my family of 4. Familyroom size is ok. Towels and sheets, although clean they had yellowish colour/ stains on them. Most towels I requested to use had stains. Room was cleaned daily. Coffee/ tea in room were literally 1 per person per day. Staff at reception weren’t friendly at all. Rooms are not soundproof! We could hear the kitchen prep, and smell the food. Mosque next door, daily morning prayer heard very clearly. We asked to change the room but told no, not a sorry we can’t. Staff were rude. One window next to door facing the corridor. Only positive is Location, as it’s 5 mins by car to Chenang beach, and 15 mins by car to airport.
