Fascinating visit, especially a must if you have kids aling. Not very crowded during the weekdays. Usually open till 6PM, but tickets issue close 1 hour prior. Plan to spend 1-2 hours here, depending on how much time you plan to spend around each animal. Check for the feeding times for specific animals on the website and plan your visit accordingly.

Nice exhibits, but some are just preserved specimens and usually I'd expect an area to touch specimens like most others do nowadays. The massive grouper was the highlight. Totally chill guy..or gal, not sure. We even had a nice long chat and he/she was very attentive. There's an area where you can pose with animals like an iguana and birds. Great for photos, just check yourself afterwards to see if the animals gave you a parting gift.

Visited Underwater World Langkawi and was pleasantly surprised! The highlight was the 15-meter underwater tunnel where you can walk through and see sharks, rays, and sea turtles swimming overhead. The penguin and seal exhibits were also a hit—especially the playful African penguins. The place is well-maintained and offers a cool escape from the tropical heat. It’s conveniently located at the southern end of Pantai Cenang, making it easy to combine with a beach day. Highly recommend for families and marine life enthusiasts!
