During our recent trip to Bali, we had the pleasure of staying at four different hotels, and without a doubt, St. Regis stood out as the most luxurious and exceptional experience—not just in Bali, but among all the hotels we've visited around the world. From the moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of extraordinary. We were warmly welcomed with thoughtful gifts and flowers, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable stay. One of the highlights was the impeccable personal butler service, which added an extra layer of luxury and convenience to our experience. A special thank you to Hery and Tin, our dedicated butlers, whose attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. The dining experience was equally impressive. The food was exquisite, and the breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best we've ever had. Every dish was crafted with care, offering both variety and exceptional quality. Our room was elegant, spacious, and exuded a sense of prestige and comfort. We also thoroughly enjoyed the saltwater pool—one of the largest in Bali—which provided a serene and refreshing escape. St. Regis has undoubtedly set a new benchmark for luxury and service in our future travels. Thank you for an incredible stay that exceeded all expectations.
This review is for the brunch buffet at the Kayuputi Restaurant. I may be posting in the wrong location. We enjoyed this for my 70th birthday . Instead of serving yourself from long tables with bain maries full of overcooked food, you choose from an extensive tasting menu. Each dish is brought to your table. You can eat as much as you like, yet there is a time limit of two hours. I did notice they started to close things down within that two hour period. The ambience is light filled, decorated with traditional Balinese wayang puppets…etc. We were lucky to have a view straight through the glass front doors and down to the beach. Each tasting plate is small yet it is amazing how quickly you fill up after a few. Everything was cooked superbly and plated beautifully. This experience is about combinations of flavours and the visual delights of beautiful food. The alcohol is very expensive. You could buy a full alcohol package for double the price of what we paid. We enjoyed our “complimentary” cocktail. If I had to turn such a round number, this experience helped dampen the “pain”.
My wife, my little daughter and I stayed here for four nights. It was a wonderful stay. The service was excellent and the staff were very kind. They gave me a free upgrade, which they are very grateful for. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you to everyone for serving me and receiving us kindly.??
We stayed at 2 hotels during our recent Bali trip, with St Regis undoubtedly being the highlight of the trip. From the moment we were picked up from the 1st hotel in an Alphard (an upgrade compared to the Avanzas we were travelling around in the days before) to the army of staff welcoming us and quickly offloading our luggages to the reception area which opens up to the beautiful sea, we knew we were in for a treat. I picked the Family Tradition package for the added benefits for my 2 kids, and it was well worth it. We were lucky enough to receive an early check in at 1.30 pm, and was taken on a short resort tour by our first butler, Widana before arriving at our suite where a beautiful birthday decoration awaited our toddler daughter. On top of that, there was a welcome kit for our 2 kids and other treats like cupcakes, kids sized bathrobe and bedroom slippers. We had dinner and breakfast for the next 2 days at Boneka which gave the word buffet an elevated fine dining meaning and experience, and i have elaborated my experience quite extensively in Boneka's page. Now back to St Regis; the salt water lagoon was a treat to swim in as we traverse the length, exploring different entry and exit points. One of them eventually led us to the main pool where we spent the whole afternoon lazing at the gazebo, swimming in the pool and making sandcastles at the beach. If there's 1 point to note, the main pool's water does have a fair bit of things floating in it, but I suppose that can't be helped due to its proximity to the beach and the vegetation surrounding it. We were also offered some small bites on the first day, but however did not receive any on the 2nd day since they appeared to have ran out before reaching where we sat. The kids club however was a bit underwhelming. The music room was good for kids to explore and learn the traditional musical instrument, but the other rooms didn't manage to entice my kids to stick around for long. The butler service was very much appreciated. I've gotten countless of rounds of drinks delivered, clothes pressed and also packed on the day I left. The way the clothes were packed was done so well that the shirt arrived back in my home country without needing to be ironed again. Kudos to Widana, Mahendra and other butlers whom I did not managed to get the chance to interact with but is working behind the scenes to make all of these magic happen. Other things worth mentioning was the free ice cream for the kids daily which was something they really looked forward to, and the fish feeding activity. The elderly gentleman playing the musical instrument at the lobby also gave our kids a chance to interact with him and also the instruments. There are so many friendly and warm faces which made our stay extra memorable, so much so that we're already planning our next plan to return again. My regret is that I cannot name all of them in this review but they should all know that their interactions with us has made the stay a much more memorable one.
My recent visit at The St. Regis Bali Resort in Nusa Dua was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of Bali’s serene beachfront, the property offers an oasis of luxury, tranquility, and unparalleled service. From the moment I arrived, every detail was flawlessly executed, creating a memorable experience that reflects the very essence of five-star hospitality. The resort’s facilities are world-class — from the stunning lagoon pools and beautifully landscaped gardens to the private beach access and elegantly appointed suites and villas. Each space is thoughtfully designed, offering a blend of Balinese charm and modern sophistication. What truly sets St. Regis Bali apart is the exceptional level of service. Every staff member, from the butlers to the restaurant teams, exudes professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. It’s evident that this level of excellence stems from the visionary leadership of General Manager Mr. Hector Busto, whose passion for hospitality resonates throughout the resort.
