My friend and I stayed here for a week during the summer, it's very modern and clean. The hotel is nestled on a quieter street, but is still close to tourist destinations such as Fushimi Inari Taisha. There are convenience stores, small restaurants, and subway stations within walking distance, so you have easy access to anything you need. Staff were nice and incredibly accommodating. There was always an English-speaking person at the front desk while I was there, which made everything even easier. The people running the rooftop bar were super friendly and talkative, and made the best lemon sours. Overall, I felt very comfortable and secure during my stay, it was the perfect place to rest after 2 weeks of nonstop travel. Also, as a Dane myself, I approve of their Danish-inspired breakfasts.

10/10 stay! Loved this hotel and the bathroom was super clean, large and loved the pressure of the shower head. The beds were heaven on earth and the room was very spacious. Great location as well, only about a 10 min walk to train station and close to many food places around. The hotel restaurant though was overpriced and not really worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The reception staff were very kind, attentive and helpful throughout our visit. The check-in process was smooth. Their warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Excellent service overall!

Quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. Very nice and friendly staff. The bathroom was so so clean. They gave fresh towels and water daily. The breakfast was decent. You are close to two train stations but still a bit away from the tourist sites, however the train stations definitely make it easy to get anywhere. There are some non touristy temples about a 20-30min walk away and highly recommend going there to avoid the crowds. The only thing is we had trouble finding restaurants around the hotel area.

Great hotel. Helpful staff, clean and modern rooms with nice touches (e.g. luxury toiletries and slippers). Location is a quick bus or subway away from Gion and other tourist areas. Very quiet at night, especially if you can request a room at the back of the hotel.
